I've been out for a few days, but I'm interested in the thread where folks are working on documenting Berg's pedophilia. Is the point to put together an article of quotes from the MLs? Could it also include quotes from Faith & Deborah & Mene where they make claims that contradict his official denials of incest? In other words, is this a plan for an article that widely exposes the man for his message and practice of CSA (child sexual abuse)?
The stuff from "Revolutionary Sex" is useful, too, because it documents Berg's callousness.
Are there any MLs where he advises beating children? It wouldn't hurt to take a look at all the childrearing material that was published prior to the charter. Point being, nothing was published that he didn't approve.
What about MLs where he promotes separating children from their parents? This was a policy of kidnapping and coersion. Maybe TF's changed their policies re: parents & children, but there's no getting around that Berg preached and promoted child abuse. You can't undo history--just reconstruct it. Why let TF be the only source on this with their denials and obfuscations?
If you do a google on "David Brandt Berg" you will find Fam sites all over the place where people are quoting him and promoting his writings. (There's a webring out there.) I suggest putting up a special page linked to this one that can be accessed by anyone doing a google on Berg. Use Berg's photo and put the whole thing in a format similar to what TF is using to push "The Man & His Message." It might be worthwhile to pay someone for their time to put this webpage together.
I would be glad to help with this project--as the funder of a page designer and/or as an article editor or writer--if I were given quotes and sources by people who actually have the MLs and other evidence, such as Fam denials. A really good article should list all the source material with dates, etc.
I see no need to publish the Davidito Book photos. They're already available on a South American website. TF spins the Dito Book as an isolated Family aberration for which Berg had no direct responsibility. It's more effective, imo, to document the range of his pedophilic activity and writings.
It would also be effective to reference the abuse survivor stories that are posted at Movingon.org.
