It really helped me get out of that fear mentality that whatever happened was God judging me, or a lesson God was teaching me or, blah, blah, blah - guilt, guilt, guilt. It was a noose around my neck for so many years. This guy's idea of God makes a lot more sense. If there is truly a God, he must be reasonable, firstly. Otherwise, what kind of God is that? I don't have all the answers, for sure, but I sure know things that are simply not right and do not make sense and only do damage. At least we can find out what is not right, or what is out of sorts and Berg's idea of God is simply not right.
