Thanks for your kind response AG. When there is an isolated incident between siblings etc, it could be put down to innocent experimentation but when it goes on for a period of years and the perpetrator tells the victims to make sure they don't tell anyone - then you've got an abuse problem.
My poor daughter had such problems at school. She now tells me that she thought everyone could see her shame just by looking at her. It sexualised her way too early which is why she was having sex at 15. It isolated her terribly. She also now tells me that she continued to allow herself to be in that environment in order to protect (or so she thought) her brother. This is common too.
It still breaks my heart when they tell me the sort of things that were done to them and I will never be the same again.
I suffer from depression and anxiety as well as epilepsy.
It tore our lives apart.
