I don't know if I would call it collective punishment across the board. If all things were equal and It was mine to hand out punishment, I of course would look at those who actually abused, differently than those who allowed abuse, and then differently for those who merely stood by silent. However, My point in all this is that by virtue of FGAs being a part of what most now admit was a dangerous and abusive cult, they had a part in helping creat or perpetuate a system that was ultimately damaging to many children. With that being the case, I submit that placing the bulk of the blame squarly at the feet of the leaders is a bit disingenuous. Cult leaders without followers, are just madmen with delusions of grandeur.
