sometimes, these one time incidents that happened because of the doctrines and sometimes pressure, or being put in a situation that was just too overwhelming, like having a leader put a young girl in the same shower with a healthy adult male - that's like too much temptation. One would have to be hercules to restrain oneself in that situation - but these one time situations happened not because someone is a bonafide perpetrator, but because they felt they had to to please God or the leaders or for other reasons, but not because that is what they really wanted to do and then never did it again. I don't know why they should feel pressure to go to the police. They usually have families or children that would suffer if they did. I think Jo's idea is better. There is a situation where one SGA had to lie on a psychological evaluation before he could get his job. They found out about his cult past. Now if the parents went to the police, that would be the end of his career. Seems kind of like a no-win situation sometimes.
