You get to that stage by slowly coming out from under the Family's thinking mode & realizing that Berg's teachings were a lie & therefore this teaching that it's righteous to be a liar to 'protect security' and to 'spoil Egypt' is also a lie. As you get out of the copy-Berg mode & become more yourself & regain your own conscience & integrity, you begin to shed the Family mode of thinking & doing. It's like decompressing. A lot of that has to do with living in a normal world where there is more sane thinking than in the Family envirnonment.
I'd say by the time someone publicly denounces Berg as a false prophet then they're out. I have never known a Family member to do that even when pretending not to be a Family member. They'll say they're 'out' but won't take the logical step of saying that the Family System was wrong & the so-called Prophet was a false prophet.
For our part, suspicion is a healthy thing, but too much suspicion isn't.
