Did I speak harshly? I apologize if I did. I come off as being rough sometimes (and I am a little around the edges), I don't mean to be.
I do appreciate your thoughts and you could very well be right. It's just our opinions. We have different experiences and hearing about yours as an SGA mom gives me hope. I know my daughter is a very loving and adoring mom, but gosh, it grates me when I hear them repeat those grandpa stories and stupid analogies that are neither here nor there, not to mention those timelines that keep everyone "in check." It's such control. You're right though, it could be worse and if a child has a bleak prognosis, it could be the better of two evils.
