If the Family couple in question has approached the orphanage being open about their Family connection, then there could be an agenda here. As Blondie said below it's widely known in the Family that this couple is trying to adopt a child & there are reminders to pray that the adoption goes through. This is so unlike the Family that it raises serious questions.
Does that couple really want a child? If so they could easily arrange to have another Family member's child. Or could it be that this is a push by Family leadership itself to achieve some kind of legitimacy? Imagine the adoption appearig in later legal cases, PR statements, etc.
*See, we're not bad people. We're not bad parents. The Family been recognized as such a safe place to raise children that we were allowed to adopt child X from country X. Our members were open about their affiliation with the Family & this was of no concern to the officials.*
Why else is the Family being encouraged to pray that this adoption goes through at a time when the Family is dumping parents with kids? Something doesn't seem right here.
