I'd ask the adoption agency what made them think the potential adoptive parent was a member of the Family in the first place. It seems kind of weird they'd find out that info since the Family would probably not divulge it. If they have grounds to believe the potential parents are a member & are Internet savvy enough to find this site & write you, it sounds lke they can figure things out on their own.
And why would any Family member spend the tens of thousands of dollars to adopt a kid anyway when there are thousands of their own large families with kids they're dumping & have dumped throughout the years? It makes no sense. They don't spend money on their own kids' education! Why would they spend tens of thousands of dollars adopting some kid? Plus it would probably be against Family policy.
My guess is the adoptive parents might be former members. Just a guess.
