I have heard -- but so far have not been able to prove -- that the first book by Scott McGregor, "The Perfect Ones", which was touted as being a spirit story given by a famous writer (I forget the name at the moment) was actually a direct rip off of a famous novel/classic that's been in print for decades. I'm trying to get more facts on this.
