I believe that the policy of separating children from their parents is one of the most evil of all. It was when I realise that there was a strong possibility that I too would have to agree to such cruelty that I left the group. Everyone has a different trigger and even though what was happening to me personally was bad it was the fear of losing my children that made me wake up. I ran for my life and when I landed at Sydney Airport I took my first breath.
