In the short time i was in TF i saw physical abuse that was not your normal smack on the bottom, it was outright violence. Smacking with an implement over & over & over again. The little ones copped a lot. The children born into TF were not the only ones abused either. Very early in the piece just after I joined, the "travelling home" i was living in, the leaders picked up a young girl from a country town, saved her soul first of course, she then instantly became a nanny for 4 children and a second wife for an absolute monster & a crazy 1st wife who was riddled with jealousy & hate when hubby wasnt there. In fact the man of this threesome seemed to revell in all the pain & horrible fighting & treatment that this girl copped. I can still see him laughing. this girl suffered so badly at the hands of these leaders. her anguish still haunts me. She used to cry to me & say how confused she was. god, i wonder where she is now & if shes ok.
