Of all the famous people I ever had to work for, he treated his underlings the best.
He was surrounded by layers and layers of management. I never made it but to the 2nd level, the 1st being the level he had direct contact with. I will say this, for whatever may or may not be true about allegations of child abuse, I do think he is on the wierd side, but then again so are a lot of other people guilty of being really difficult to comprehend.
He was generous, and often treated us to extra pay and even sent his personal chef to cook for us, anything we wanted from steaks to vegetarian cuisine. We were allowed alcoholic breverages in professonal stage and management jobs that traditionally required coffee abd 100% sobriety. For being a rich American celebrity, he did not come with some of the usual trappings. I have worked for several rich American celebrities, and none of them were as generous as he was. Of course everything for I am saying, I have never visited his home, or chatted with him intimately, nor spent any amount of time where I could say I know him as a person. But on the outside, on the 2nd layer of management, I really thought he was a good person. Anyway, this was BEFORE any of the scandulous allegations happened.
