This is a leftover effect from being in TF, but it works better for me. Why not just post the verse instead of the reference. So I don't have feel obliged to go to the bible to decode whatever point is being made, or remain outside the discussion. I don't mind reading bible verses to see what someone is saying, it's just this thing about looking up references that brings out the demons, and makes the discussion exclusive to those that know, or those with a bible lying around and who want to bother to look in it.
