Hey, humanity to me is the ability invent. Then the ability to do great harm, good or not much at all with it.
Regarding transcending gender..I guess we would be computers if we did that, without emotion. I just think that everyone possesses characteristics which are both masculine and feminine, some strongly at the ends of the poles towards femininity, others strongly masculine and the rest are all the end between. I have seen men that were more nurturing and "motherly" than most mothers I have seen, and yet are very masculine as well. I guess androgynous is on that plain of somewhere close to the middle of the spectrum of traits?
