This Posting Board

Strange that I should happen upon this board...
Karen Zerby is my Aunt, although I must admit to never having met her, as she had left Arizona before my birth. It must be nice for so many of you to pin all your life's problems on her - God knows I would love to have a scapegoat for such a thing! Not that she is without blame, mind you: All I heard growing up with my grandparents was how she was a misguided soul and should be prayed for. But the pure hatred I have read in some postings! I even read some that discussed contacting her parents - my grandparents - and asking them questions or getting them in the media spotlight. That is why I am leaving a message.
My grandparents are gentle, aging souls and should never be contacted by any of you, much less any media outlets. Do you think they do not know how much pain their daughter has caused with her misguided teachings? Can any of you imagine how many nights they have stayed awake praying for all of you and crying over whatever mistakes they imagine they may have made while she was growing up? While I am not as religious as they are, I know that while they still love their oldest daughter they agree with absolutely nothing she has ever preached.
If any of you need to vent your feeling towards them, feel free to contact me. I have been in the military for over 13 years and know how to handle an ass-chewing, and I may even reply if the message is something other than simple hate and bile spewed towards my family.
My grandparents mean more to me than many of you can imagine, and I would hate for the time that they have left on this earth to be anything other than tranquil.
