For ten years after leaving the COG (mid 1970s to mid 1980s)I sought counseling in the form of spiritual direction with a Catholic priest who also is trained and licensed as a therapist. He is a good and wise man who strongly influenced the direction my life has taken. Although I am no longer Catholic, I will never regret having made the journey with him.
