I'm sure that there are millions of people stuck in controlling groups like the Family - JW's, Mormons, etc. come to mind, and I'm sure there are lots who want to leave and are open to counselling. As a counsellor, empathy, understanding, and a sympathectic listenning ear are pretty good things imo.
