What I think about Sam

These are my personal opinions, and not indicative of this site's official views.

I am glad to see the recent discussions taking place here.

I respect Sam's accomplishments. His hard work and substantial contributions to exposing TF should be applauded. He should be credited with some significant successes. He will forever be a landmark in the historical landscape of ex-member efforts to expose TF, but his relevance from this point on will be determined by his ability to change. This is a new day and age.

His newsletters never had much of the appearance credibility to me. I have always had trouble with his presentation, but I realize now that it is more than just aesthetics. It is a direct reflection of his way of thinking. He does not appear convincing or credible, because he lacks the high standards and scruples associated with professionalism.

It is true that he has made himself a law only unto himself. His recent statements have shocked me.

It is my hope that Sam will not be discouraged, but will upgrade his skills, educate himself some more, if he is to continue with this business. If he cannot adapt, he should consider a less active consultant role. He should contfront his own flawed methods and rethink his purposes, apologize for his sensationalist tabloid journalism and his excesses.

This is what I think, but I have not said anything because it is not my place to tell Sam what to do.
