Jered, Mike and Christina, my sense is that most of the readers on this site are supportive of what you are doing and the manner you are doing it. Your transparency speaks volumes. The Family has such a dishonest, deceitful culture that to break free of that and operate honestly and openly is a huge accomplishment. You're doing it.
As well, my sense is that very few people agree with and support Sam and his views and actions concerning you. Because of your willingness to come here and explain things, people are beginning to get an idea of how incredibly irresponsible, unethical, and reckless Sam is. This is a good thing.
Now we will see if Sam retracts his allegations and apologises for his rush to judgement. Now we will see if Sam writes a retraction in his next newsletter, or better still, corrects the one that defames you. Now we will get a better idea of what kind of person Sam is. What Sam says or does not say will reveal a lot. It should be interesting.
But for the rest of us -- although I cannot speak for 'them/us,' -- my sense is that many believe and support you, and wish you only well. Many more than those who subscribe to Sam's views.
We have all seen so much horror, been party to so much horror, condoned so much evil, that to see you doing good is wonderful. I for one only want the best for you in whatever choices you make in your lives.
Thanks again for coming here and explaining things. It has done a lot of good, and built much goodwill.
