Since I didn't address Grant's visits (he visited twice) to Perm: Both were made in connection with our joint IREX funded project. For this particular grant contest two organizations were required to make joint applications and work in partnership. You can imagine the high percentage another 501 c (3) would’ve asked for if we applied with them! Grant was fully aware that there were no members of TF here, and he stayed in a hotel (I’m guessing if there was a commune in the vicinity he would’ve stayed there). Grant treated the project professionally and did not bring any religious concerns into the picture. As a result of this project we were able to open a third educational center for former street children.
