I like what is going on here, and I think that whoever made this board has made a good go of it, and succeeded in creating a somewhat safe, non-threatening environment,where people feel it is worthwhile to offer thoughtful, insightful, and intelligent comments.
I think it is healthy that people like Laura and novagrrl visit and share their thoughts -- also Daniel and Jules. I learn a great deal from them.
I must admit, as time goes on, I have less and less patience for mindlessness. Probably a sign of old age. :) My hope is that this board will continue to stimulate helpful, thoughtful discussion that each of us can in some way benefit from as we make our way through the fog of life.
