I'm not so sure that Sam is misrepresented. My opinions of Sam have been formed by what he has written -- his own statements. If Sam has a bad public relations image, he only has himself to blame. Nothing will persuade me to see view him as a victim.
Sort of like the Family. Who needs to cook up lies and stuff? -- Their own literature condemns them far more than anything else. Just trot it out and let the world recoil in horror.
In my view, Sam is dangerous. Left to his own devices, he has the potential -- based on his writings-- to inflict great harm on individuals. Seeing as he has eschewed any form of accountability -- reminds me of a certain cult leader -- the only other avenue left for concerned citizens is to censor him publicly.
