The Mo letters don't really need commentaries, but it would be useful to have them in certain cases. Things such as background info on how the family implemented the doctrines promoted in the letter, how it affected the members, and perhaps pointing out how the letters violate moral, religious, and legal laws.
I think that if not having time or vollunteers to write commentaries is an obstacle to posting them, then just go ahead and post them without commentary. After people have studied them, perhaps those of us who are adept at writing can submit commentaries.
