I can't even imagine how terrible that must have been. When you talk to people who have had a home burn down, the thing that they say they miss the most are their family photos.
Jane was kind of lucky in that she got out early on, and when she left, nobody seemed to notice or care. So, she has original photos, that we scanned and put online quite some time ago.
