Was Aaron schitzophrenic? I'd love to know more about his illness.
My brother committed suicide in 1980 and was diagnosed posthumously as suffering from schitzophrenia. Its a long story but we thought he was messed up from drugs and didn't know anything about mental illness. I was in the Family, so of course I was no help whatsoever. It breaks my heart that my husband and I messed him up even more by feeding him Family garbage. He just took everything to the extreme and eventually went completely mad. Religion can be deadly for this illness.
Aaron would have been the right age for severe symptoms to start occurring and suicide is usually the result for people suffering from this illness. Now we know a lot more and there is a lot more support and help now although still not enough.
