I think any claims that Aarron was murdered in Germany or wherever is hokum. the facts are that Aaron feel off a mountain, La Saleve, that is in France but overlooks Geneva. He is buried in a church graveyard at the foot of the mountain. I have been there.
At the time, Berg spinned it as an accident. Years later, when he was berating Mene in 'The Last State,' he more or less said that Aaron committed suicide because he was so out of God's will, yadda yadda.
I don't see how we can know what happened. It is all spin and conjecture. Aaron fell to his death. Did he jump, or was it an accident? But I see not a shred of evidence to support the notion that he was pushed.
Conspiracy theories are fun and entertain the feeble-minded :), but I think they should be kept in their place. I love all the writing on Moving on and feel that there is a place for urban, or cultic myth, etc., as long as the operative word is myth.
