Interesting & humorous, but I can't believe this is true. Not even the "run, sheep run" part. I also met Ho and knew him well for a time and despite his faults he did NOT seem like a man haunted by the thought of having killed his own brother. What you are witnessing in Judas Christ's post is an urban myth attempting to be started. Oooh watch it fizzle! Someone got a lighter?

Yes, in the early days a disciple was quoted as saying that "she would kill for Berg if he asked her to", (thank God I never married her!) but to the very best of my knowledge, murder was never part of the Family's mandate. I mean, the Family even distanced themselves from the Waco people and guns after the shootout down there.

Well, there is one story: in the early days about 1972 the Family had a colony in Chicago I think it was and there was such a danger of armed break-ins that they had a brother watch at night with a loaded gun. His instructions were to shoot and ask questions later. (Which may be where the Family got their doctrine of talking to the dead.)But that was an exception as far as I knew, and would be typical Chicago mentality anyway.

But hey, even though Family members were attacked by gangs on East 9th Street colony, they never got guns there! Mind you, I did hear of gang members storming the building once, coming over the roof, and brothers armed with metal bars ready to do battle. I think more than anything it was a bluff to scare the gang off.

But murder? Well, they drove people to commit suicide which is pretty horrific, but even in a court of law that's different than pre-meditated murder with a gun.
