Thank so much for telling me your experience. The 2SK tried to get a hold on people's lives after the little bit more of freedom experienced with the Love Charter.
Eventually, as you say, it didn't work as the Conviction & compromise came out. In my opinion it is a signal of the difficulty for Family leaders to get control on the movement. Intrusive groups like the Family can't stand without keeping an high standard of control, both through rules and brainwashing. Once the control gets almost unbearable they let it go a little bit and then they tighten again. It reminds me of a cat playing with the mouse.
Anyway I'm really worried for those teens sent in the mission fields out of Europe and the States. I'm afraid it will be more difficult for them to leave from there.
Let's hope that more of them will get out before.
