Re: Questions for Sam

Sam: “ButI am not discussing "success". That sounds almost presumptious.”

Then why judgments like what you wrote below? “If the ex-members had done what I feel should had been done, she [Karen Zerby] and her co-workers would be getting these Vandari prophecies from their jail cell.”

You say your ethics are:
Sam: The greater good for the greater number of people. But even more that the wellfare of individuals and people, the button line is that what motives me the most are religious reasons.
----------------------------------
I don’t understand what you mean by this. Does the cause or the “greater good” come first or the welfare of individuals? What do you mean by religious reasons? Do you crusade because you believe God wants you to, or do you object to the Family because you believe their doctrines are heresy?
The rest of your answers are non-answers, so there is no point in me replying to them. (ie: How can something be 100% right, but there is something that is more right than that?) Perhaps I was not clear in explaining this to start with, but since I don’t know what your concrete goal actually is I can’t comment your methods of reaching that goal. To expose the Family seems to be a method and not a goal. Why expose the Family? What specifically do you want to see happen? How do you know when the "fight" is won? (ie: To see the Family disbanded? Put Maria and Peter in jail? Put all Family members in prison? See homes raided and children taken away? For beliefs you consider heresy to be renounced? Etc. etc.)
I obviously have differing opinions on many of these things, but I want to make sure I understand you clearly before I give my point of view.
