I have spoken to Ho several times in the last few years. The most recent was about 2 wks ago. He's definitely not blind to all that has happened, and seems keenly aware of his own mistakes and shortcomings, but he won't be pushed into seeing everything, including his dad, in a negative light.
He is re-married, or at least re-mated, to a girl in her late 20's or early 30's, whom I have not met. They have a small child together.
I don't know anything about Ruthie's situation, but Esther has recovered from a bout of breast cancer she went through 3-4 years ago, and she is still in the Family.
