Wow Sam! that just gave me shivers all over my body. Yes! thats exactly how i felt & feel. when steven was abducted by Barry & The Family - there was never a question of whether or not I would find him somewhere in this wide world or ever get him back. I AM HIS MOTHER. END OF. and i did get him back - after 4 months of searching - bloodied & scarred but with my baby in my arms.
Hey just for the record everyone. Not sure whether or not you all know this but I actually wasnt even IN the family when Barry (Peter Riddell) stole my bub. I was out of the family & hated them. but the night before he kidnapped him we both agreed that we would stay together for the sake of our son, so he had a mum & dad. I was so stupid. listening to that interview tape now that i did all those years ago, I even said in that, "oh i could never take steven away from his father - that would be so cruel, so we will just stay together & i will put up with petes lifestyle." hmmmm...jammy bastard.
