Do you know if it was a kid's song, or an adult song? and from what time period?
There was one song (early COG) written by a guy in the fam. who was very musically talented. He left the fam early, too. Any way, the song he wrote started out:
"Somebody call the captain, somebody call the cook
Somebody call the captain, I got something on my fishing hook..."
The interesting thing about this is that this song was written well before the FFing rev. officially started. But top leaders were real interested in the song and probably saw it as a confirmation of sorts of what Berg was doing. I remember seeing Big Josh recording it in a park in Houston with this guy singing it. Probably around 1970-71?
I remember the guy that wrote it also wrote one that started:
"It's a fact that the bold die young"
hmmm. He also wrote some other "persecution" related songs.
