My daughter completed the "CVC course" while we were still in the Family (left in 1999 after 23 years) and, while I certainly agree it is not accredited- nor should it be as it is not by any means up to US high school standards- we were very thankful after leaving that she had a "diploma" and that I had insisted that she pursue as much education as was possible in our Home. (Oh- by the way (in answer to a comment below)- in the phrase "Christian Vocational College", "college" is intended to be the American high school equivalent. In may languages and countries, the word "college" refers to high school, whereas university is what follows. No one I knew in the Family ever thought the CVC was a university-level program.)
By having this diploma, and having had at least some high school equivalent education, my daughter was able to pass entrance exams and provide sufficient documentation to enter the State University here, where she is presently a Dean's List student pursuing a B.A. in Education.
My point is- I am glad that, at the time I was still in the Family, this program existed, because without it my daughter (and her younger brother, also now in university) would have had a very difficult time getting into college. So I for one would not do anything to actively attack the CVC because that would be attacking one of the few possibly beneficial things offered to many Family young people.
