Yes, I agree with what you're saying. As for your statement that yelling louder is not the way, that's true if we all agree that the main purpose for posting on these boards is to reach out to current Family members & help them out of the group. I think those are your motives & bravo for you, I admire that. But many people are deeply injured by the cult experience & come to the boards to rant & vent their frustration & anger at how the cult defrauded them. After years of having to stay bottled up or go on silence restriction of one kind or another, speaking out loud is quite therapeutic. For their own healing they need to vent. Others like Sam are activists focused more on exposing the cult to the world or to ex-members. A lot of different folks are posting on these boards for different reasons. Your input is needed & it looks like you have very much of a pastor's heart. I hope you have success.
