The shame of having been dupped.
The shame of having been a part of what The Family has become.
The shame of having realized that there was sin in the camp.
We should instead
celebrate for acting on our idealism and our faith on what we believed.
celebrate for breaking away from the control of the Family.
celebrate for "coming out of her" when we realized that there was sin in the camp.
I know it's more complicated than this but there was a lot of courage and determination in our decision to leave The Family and move on by faith and without support of what had become a way of life. Not everybody has that quality, but we do. We heard a voice deep inside and took heed. We should not feel sorry for the bad decisions we took but for having overcome them to become more than conquerors in the victory of separatingourselves from certain spiritual death.
