How about we start writing a few articles about, "You know, life is great OUTSIDE the Family" and elaborate on how rewarding it is to be able to work for your own future, how rewarding it is to face challenges and face the issues you've put on hold because of your involvement with the Family, etc?
We could talk about how to get set up with getting an education, how it's not too late... tips about getting a job, what skills you can take with you from the years you spent inside, how to get resettled in the "system", tips on where to get aid, how to patch things up with estranged relatives, etc...
You know, all this to counter the idea that it's "impossible out there after all these years", and to counter the "undemanding easy lifestyle" with no lasting rewards, to counter the helplessness individuals feel being in the Family, etc...
