There is that Family publication about what is going on in Brazil that I read that was posted here or on Crossfire. I don't know anything more about BraiL than that. But if you look back there have been major crasis in the Family from time to time since the late ninties. There was one around 1998, then the one when when they had to sign the oath, then the conviction vs compromise thing and now this. Plus it was somewhat strange to me the way they overreacted to Penn's writings. I don't want to speculate but things are different from the time when Berg was in charge. She does not seem to be able to control things the way Berg was able to. Like someone suggested, they couldn't excommunicate the whole Family so maybe they excommunicated one country as an example and warning to all. The Family is built on such a fake foundation, Zerby is so deceived and so out of touch with reality, I really feel sorry for her and I also feel embarassed for having been part of such an crazy outfit. But I don't know anything more about Brazil. SamAjemian
