I wasn't there but I heard that after Keda and Faithy were "broken" at Berg's house and mentally fit only to blindly and implicityly obey, that they were deemed worthy to lead the Work in Japan, so off they went to implement every jot and tittle of the Letters, and to legalistic extremes.
As I recall Faithy had been raked over the coals about suntanning and a whole ML about "The Least of These Commandments" had been written with a picture of her sun-roasting. So now that she was fully humbled along with Keda, they went off and legalistically implemented all of Bergy-boy's policies, especially the multitudinous "least of these commandments". Majoring on the minors.
I also read in the FSMs that they really got off on that dream Berg had about "The Japanese South American Dream" about the guy called Denton who was such a problem. Faithy interpreted Denton to mean "dento" which apparently means "tradition" or something in Japanese, so she felt that all expression of Japanese-ness had to be squashed. You guys who were there and suffered under the Reign of Keda and Faithy can correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I read in the MLs and FSms.
And THAT was my source of information? Wow! Was I like "informed" or WHAT?
