Hmmm..... Do you feel like a problem case or something, that you are being ostracized because of past behavior/comments unfitting the exer community???
If you mean the "default" is most exers here are Christian, and mostly mainstream in their beliefs, I can relate. I am very different, and feel very different from the main stream. I have a hard enough time fitting in in real life. Many times I've spoken out my views I've been put down for them or incorrectly categorized for them. It really is hard when people have only what you write to go by, "sans body language" as you said. Being articulate and having a good grasp of the language becomes all important. Well at least this cyber community isn't like chat boards where you gotta learn a whole new lingo, and say all the right things to get any attention at all.
Personally I haven't had too much of a need for venting. With issues of trust however, I did come in to this cyber community both guarded and with naive enthusiasm. I don't trust many of the people who interact here, but I've found a good solid few I know I can trust and count on.
Anyway, I've always been able to relate to you and what you post.
