I wish more people would stand up as you have. It should say something to those who still stand by their guru, and all the hurts and abuses he/she perpetrated. I undestand PD of course, but I also understand you. Sometimes I think my own children are too forgiving of their father and I wish they would take a stand and let him know just what he is doing not only to their lives but to the children in his care as of this moment. It hurts to let someone have it, but in the long run, it's for the benefit of all. I think about a woman I knew who was murdered by her estranged husband. She would not report his abuse to the police because her son pleaded with her not to "send daddy to jail." She didn't want to hurt her children. However, because she didn't report it, he ended up with visitation right ands used the opportunity to murder her, leaving the children orphans. In the end, the children were hurt more. Of course, this is an extreme analogy, but you get the idea. Plus, I think the idea of making a statement about just what TF believes in as being so very hurtful and absuive has to be made somehow.
