How about you? I got a nice bouquet of flowers from my children at work which made me cry since I was having a particular bad week at work with some mistakes and misunderstandings.
On the weekend we went river rafting with our friends who go up every year. They are such a fun loving bunch of people they helped me forget all my troubles. My daughter was learning to guide and managed to run into a wall and dump out only her parents, of course. That was a little too exciting for me, but now it has become the talk of the trip and we have named an unamed part of the river, Crystal's wall. She loves all the attention of course.
She called that her mother's day gift to me. Unfortunately, hubby lost his sunglasses and treasured hat. I told him he's probably going to get that for a father's day gift from guess who.
Now daughter #2 is here with her two children and I am no longer footloose and fancy free.
