Sam, I don't think the Family had their proofreaders go over their letter to you very carefully before they sent it. They mistakenly quoted the King James version instead of the King David version, which reads:
"Pure religion and undefiled before God and
Father David is this, to have sex with your own children, to prostitute your wife, to fuck everything on two legs, to curse those who leave the cult, to put your kids through hell in victor camps, to lie to & defraud the public, to boast of inflated false witnessing stats, to drive Merry Berg insane, to drive dozens of teens to suicide & to add more affliction to the fatherless and widows in their affliction."
