This sounds highly suspicious to me, and family-like, because The Cross and The Switchblade was about Nicky Cruz, a gangster in his younger yrs, converted to Christianity by Wilkersons people. But he has his own ministries, under his name. And has not been associated to clown costumes. Also he is hispanic in origin and would speak fluent Spanish,or had missionaries go, he would most likely send Spanish speaking speaking people, not dressed as clowns.
A way to confirm this would be to contact Nicky Cruz's ministry. I went to http://www.nickycruz.org/ and did not see any comics listed in Spanish. You could probably send an e-mail there to ask about Argentina. It sounds so typically "Familiar" to use something that sounds like mainstream and have people that don't speak the language...
