Read Autumn of War. There was an article in the March 31 Newsweek where it was reported that Dick Cheney had dinner with the author, Victor Davis Hanson and asked him his opinions. He has read the book and agrees with the philosophy. This was last October.

Hanson was quoted as saying: It would be a sin of omission for the U.S. to allow Saddam to butcher his people and use oil money to buy weapons that could threaten neighboring countries and the United States.
