That's what they do. My stepdaughter narrowly averted the trap - I heard that some of the young girls are giving BJs so they won't get PG. It's so sad. None of them want to end up a single parent - which seems to be more likely than not in the F. - and later on a tired mom with a ton of kids. I really do believe that's why they force them to stay in until they are 18, hoping they'll get pg or get someone pg and have to stay in. It's too bad these kids can't skip out at 17, usually at that age the courts just let them go, they won't force them to stay with their parents. They could even be emancipated - the court would rule that they are virtually on their own with no parental support and the parents would no longer have any rights over them. I think they can even do this at 16.
Well, all you can is what you can do, you can't do anymore than that. I still think you should call social services and just see what they have to say. Maybe for your brothers sake, your mom should stay in the states and put him in school. What is more important, his life and happiness or her happiness? She already lost one son by dumping him off, does she really believe this is what "the Lord" would do? Dump off children? She might just have to put the best interest of her child first -what a novel thought.
