Syria and Iran seem to have started jumping into the war, Egypt is about to, that takes a big cut off the spending right there.
Then the missle fired into Kuwait today seems to have been of Chinese origin. (not yet confirmed.)
I think that the U.S. was told and was fully aware that this war would possibly take a good deal of time. The more that jump in, the more time it will take. I am also pretty sure we had a good idea that opposition would not only come actively from Iraqi Saddamites, but from the other "axis of evil" nations.
While this war will be very expensive, we will certainly get oil for our food and any rebuilding!
I don't know what to think of all that is happening except that I hope there is an end to this as soon as possible. Which I am sure is the wish of Tommy Franks.
