Is this why just the other day the government began preparations to ship 100,000 more soldiers to Iraq? They know the conflict is about to widen. I'd say keep your ears open for news of the Pacific and other fleets moving to the Mideast. This could be what tips the scales to start a fullscale draft.
Bush has hinted a year ago that both Syria and Iran were potential enemies of the States.
