about that - I took Spanish for two years in school and from what I understand from my teacher is that she was teaching us Spanish as from Spain and if we went to Mexico or tried to use it around Californians, it would be a whole other enchilada (tee-hee, just had to throw that in). In other words, it's very different with a lot of colloquialisms and what not. When my daughter plays soccer, the coaches who are all Mexican, bark out orders in Spanish (Mexican?) and she is taking Spanish in high school and is pretty darn good at it, I might add. That's funny that Bush would say that, I have no idea why as being from Texas, he actually speaks some Spanish.
