OK, here's another one for you. John Travolta. I have zero use for his acting. If he's on a film cover I walk right by the movie. He has one & only one expression: blankfaced, expressionless pride.
John Wayne. I get the shivers if I pass within ten feet of one of his old movies. Very bad. Same with Clint Eastwood.
I still think Jackie Chan has humorous merit, nor do I think his movies stereotype the Chinese. Unless it's the fact that in half his movies he's a cop whose father (also a cop) was killed by the same gangster who's now out to kill Jackie.
